Alhaji (Dr.) Musbahu Mohammed Bashir is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Althani group, a major investment conglomerate founded and registered in Nigeria. The company was founded on 18th July, 2003 and has transitioned to have various subsidiaries.

Alhaji Musbahu Bashir began his career at Hammad Development Facilities in 1987 and in 1989, he worked with Jadai Diversified Services. Over the years, through diligence and his business acumen, he has grown through the ranks to own successful companies and serve on the board of several notable companies, some of which are under the management of the Althani group.

Alhaji Musbahu Mohammed Bashir serves as acting Chairman, Board of Directors, JAIZ bank. He also, serves as the Chairman, Althani Group of companies, Chairman, Cobalt International Services Limited, Chairman, Board of Directors, Salam Takaful Insurance, Director, Bento Drill Nigeria Limited, Director, Resource Capital Group, Chairman, Neroli technologies limited for dry and oil inspectors.
